ECC Ladies' Golf

Wednesday Ladies’ Day

The course is open for ladies to tee off any time prior to 1:00 pm. We have a “Ladies Golf League” that enjoys a summer of Wednesday morning golf with organized golf games, prizes, and lunch. It’s a great time for socializing, camaraderie, fine-tuning those golf shots, and having fun! Dues are $50 for the year and pay for weekly prizes and participation in the following events: Team Event, Handicap Event, Ladies Club Tournament, and Fun Day.

Ladies Handicap Tournament

This tournament is normally held in memory of one of the ECC Ladies’ Golf League longtime members. Handicaps are used to determine winners in this event. The field is divided into flights and winners are allowed full (or almost full) handicaps, with a PGA maximum event handicap of 20 strokes.

Ladies Club Tournament

Eshquaguma crowns a Ladies' Champion each year using a match play format. Golfers are placed in flights based on their handicaps, so all players will have a fair and balanced chance to win their flight. The two players who ultimately vie for the Champion’s trophy are always followed around the course by a gallery of golf carts and walkers.

Tuesday Twilight Golf

Initially, Tuesday evening golf was started to encourage ladies who worked to have a time to meet, play golf, socialize, and have dinner. Today, working and non-working women enjoy Tuesday night golf. Ladies tee off between 5:15 and 5:45 pm. There is no fee involved.

Buddy Golf

Buddy Golf is played primarily on Tuesday mornings, afternoons, or twilight times. Teams may also agree to meet any other day. If you work during the day, we welcome you to be a Buddy Team member at twilight time – around 5:30 pm. This is a friendly and fun game. Total cost is $10.
