NOTICE
The playing regulations are set forth under the direction of the Board of Directors for the golf season of the Eshquaguma Country Club, and are to be strictly adhered to and will be enforced by our Pro Shop Manager. We strongly urge each member to read and abide by the playing regulations and inform others under his/her membership that these rules will be enforced for the golf season.
GOLF ETIQUETTE
- Consult your score card for course rules.
- Players should play without undue delay, but do not shoot until the players in front are out of range.
- Slow players should allow faster players to play through.
- When looking for a lost ball, allow following players through.
- On all par three holes, players on the green should signal players on the tee to shoot before holing out.
- Replace all divots, smooth out marks in sand trap, and repair ball marks on greens.
- Please refrain from shooting practice shots or putts when there are players following behind. Also, avoid taking practice swings on the tees as this causes undue damage - divots and spike marks, etc., - and slows play.
- Fivesomes are at the discretion of the Pro Shop when course conditions permit.
- Groups of more than five are not permitted.
- Good sportsmanship should be displayed at all times.
GOLF COURSE
- All members and guests must register in the Pro Shop prior to teeing off.
- Refer all questions regarding golf rules, handicaps, matches, and scheduling use of the course to the Pro Shop Manager.
- It was passed unanimously by the Board of Directors that on Wednesday Golf Days, Women may tee-off until 1:00 p.m. Men may not tee-off until 1:15 p.m. Exceptions will only be allowed if approved by the Pro Shop.
- Only soft spikes are allowed on the golf course.
- Proper golf attire is mandatory for members and guests.
- Players must remain off greens when they are posted.
- Empty bottles and cans strewn on the course are a serious problem. The damage to the mowers is very costly. The time required to pick up empty bottles and safety problems are serious factors.
